Odessa C., Sr. Editor-In-Chief

Odessa is a senior and is the current Senior Editor-In-Chief of The Echo. She is ecstatic to be returning for her second year as an editor. Her passion for promoting objective and informative news, in addition to being a role model, mentor, and leader to her fellow peers has led her to pursue a leadership position in journalism. She has high hopes for the newspaper and can’t wait to help her peers produce content that represents the hard work and community that GALA embodies.

Before her current position, she served as Vice Editor-In-Chief for the previous rendition of the newspaper, heading publications and peer editing for her classmates. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, dancing, traveling, and playing Twenty One Pilots songs on the uke.
