Sabrina Carpenter is an American singer and actress who has been active in Hollywood since 2011. Sabrina was born on May 11, 1999, and is from Pennsylvania, USA.

A lot of people don’t know that her acting debut was in the crime television show Law and Order, where she made a small appearance in 2011. Sabrina is best known for her role in the Disney Channel show Girl Meets World, a spinoff of the sitcom Boy Meets World in 2014-2017. She starred as one of the main characters, Maya Hart, after being cast for the role in 2013. Since she got that breakthrough role, Sabrina has been considered one of the most popular Disney actors. Throughout Sabrina’s acting career, she’s been in a couple of pieces for Disney, like Adventures in Babysitting, Clouds, and of course, Girl Meets World, which is her star film piece. Outside of Disney, she starred in other movies such as Tall Girl, Work It, The Hate U Give, and many more!

Though Sabrina sang on Girl Meets World, her official solo singing career started in 2015 while she was still on the show. She released her debut album, Eyes Wide Open, on April 14, 2015. She’s been releasing music since then and likes to produce music for any movie or TV show she appears on. Throughout Sabrina Carpenter’s music career, she has been nominated for five awards from the Radio Disney Music Awards and has won two of them. Her song “Can’t Blame a Girl for Trying” won Best Crush Song in 2015, and another song of hers, “Eyes Wide Open” won Best Anthem in 2016. Some of her most popular songs that you may recognize are “Looking at Me”, “Sue Me”, “Because I Liked a Boy”, and “Can’t Blame a Girl for Trying”.

Her fifth studio and most recent album, emails I can’t send, came out last year on July 15, 2022. It took 44th place in the Rolling Stones rank of 100 Best Albums of 2022. For Billboard 200, the album rose to number 23 and is now considered her highest-ranking album. Sabrina also released a Christmas remix for one of the songs on emails I can’t send, “Nonsense,” called, “A Nonsense Christmas.” The single marked her third-holiday song throughout her music career.
