Blooket: the game that has taken GALA by storm. Blooket is a game where you test your knowledge about virtually anything while competing in certain game modes against your peers. There are so many different and unique elements to this trivia game, so let’s dive in!

First, go to https://www.blooket.com/ to get on the game’s website. Then, I would highly recommend creating an account so all your progress is saved, and you can unlock new skins, called Blooks, instead of just using the default ones. Making an account will also let you collect coins after each game to purchase these Blooks. Then, if you want to play right away, you can hit the “Join a Game” button and enter the game code.

Speaking of games, there are currently 15 different game modes you can play. From Gold Rush to Cafe to Factory, these games are each their own, but the level of competition is all the same. This is what differentiates Blooket from other trivia games like Kahoot, where there are fewer game mode options. I want to specifically talk about the game mode Gold Rush, a very popular one of these game modes. This is a game of luck, but there are some strategies you can use to help you win. I usually tend to stick with picking one of the three chests and sticking with that one the whole game, but that’s just a personal preference. If you get a swap, and you are in first place, don’t swap because that would give you less gold. Don’t pick anyone to swap with and your game will automatically continue after a few seconds. This small hack can go a long way in saving your gold, until someone steals it from you, of course.

I mentioned Blooks earlier and these are obtained through these virtual mystery packs, each with a different theme like Space or Safari. To find these, go to the market section on the left column of your screen. Certain packs cost different amounts of coins, and the Blook you get is random. The downside is that since the Blooks are randomized, you may get duplicates. Luckily, you can sell these duplicate Blooks to get some of your coins back. If you’re really lucky, though, you could get a legendary Blook, which is very hard to obtain. Every pack has a legendary Blook in it, except for the Breakfast Pack. Not only can you buy these Blooks, but the more levels you pass, the more accessories you obtain to make your own Blooks!

There are so many parts to Blooket that make it the game it is today. Blooket is a fun, quick-paced tool that can breathe life into studying or just testing your knowledge on random subjects.
