Melody M. is a nonfiction editor in 8th grade and likes to read a plethora of books and all different types of movies. Her favorite kinds of stories are either feel-good or feel-bad, for example, an enemies-to-lovers romance or the journey from rags to riches; dystopian futures that make you think the world might end someday, or commentary on the world. This is her first time in journalism after being at GALA for two years. Her job as a nonfiction editor encompasses editing and reviewing all writing submitted to The Lilith that is not fiction, including essays, editorials, book reviews, and recipes. She is looking forward to making and editing new works to contribute to the readers of the literary magazine. She likes to play volleyball, go to the beach, and hang out with friends in her free time.
