Mac is a Junior and has worked on The Echo since her first year at GALA as a freshman. She aspires to be a foreign correspondent, taking inspiration from writers like Betty Smith and characters like Rory Gilmore. As a freshman, Mac was the editor in chief of The Echo (formerly known as the GALA Gazette) as it first started running; in her second year, she was made the international news editor, and this year she serves as one of the two current events editors. Besides writing, Mac loves to rock-climb, listen to music while riding around on her electric scooter, and spend time with her dogs, Louie and Maggie. Mac is so excited to get to know the new staff this year and believes this year will be a good one for The Echo!
